  4. Top a piece of bread with your unique mixture. Add any of the toppings & then pop it into the oven or toaster oven until the top is lightly browned & warm.

NOTES:

  • I like to make a big batch of this for my husband and I. This means I use about 4 cans of tuna and we can eat on it for 3-5 days!

  • You could make a Chicken Salad version with shredded chicken if you really despise tuna. However, my husband had tuna growing up and wasn’t a huge fan, but once I made him this, he could not get enough. It makes for the perfect easy meal & I am all about having simple recipes on hand.

  • This recipe can be used as a “clean out the fridge” meal. I love throwing things together with what we have on hand that is about to go bad. I know not everyone is comfortable with this method, but I encourage you to just try it! You will get better the more you do it! Ask your at-home food critics for feedback, taste as you go, and, when in doubt, add more seasonings or fresh ingredients.

I hope you enjoyed this recipe & please let me know what you think in the comments!

xoxo,

Paulina
